The National PTA Reflections Program is a nationwide arts contest and achievement program for students. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students share their thoughts and feelings, teaches them about art, builds their confidence, and helps them build artistic literacy. More than 10 million participants across the country have engaged with this highly sought-after PTA initiative since its launch in 1969.Â
Each year more than 300,000 children from preschool through 12th grade generate unique artistic pieces inspired by a specific theme chosen by students.
The National PTA Reflections theme for the 2026-2027 program year is "What My Culture Means to Me".
Students can submit their completed works of art in one or all of these six art categories
Visual Arts
Photography
Literature
Film Production
Dance Choreography
Music CompositionÂ
Students can participate and submit in grade-based divisions
